what i find interesting is its fine when i log in again in the morning.. i'll try trying awake and seeing when it works again

i've had this "checking status" thing as well seems to only happen after 7:00 pm EVE time everyday and clears up after a few hours. it is worth noting however that when this happens, vent or xfire don't work either....
